This weekend the second round the Spain B Championship was held at the circuit of Fuencarral in Madrid. Soon after the start of the qualification heats, these were suspended due to rain. Not good for Ruben who did not perform very well in the beginning and did not have a chance to improve. Fortunately, his performance in the quarterfinals was much better and he bumped up to semifinals from eight place. In the semifinals, Ruben worked his way up through the field finishing second and going to the final run from sixth position. With flawless run he was able to take the lead and take home the well-deserved win.
